By the way, how does the exhaust sound? It looks great. Is that the type with the non-removeable baffle?

I've seen self-adhesive "kawasaki" badges on eBay, not sure how they work. Hopefully your glue will hold. Looks great with or without badges. Really sweet!!:woohoo:

Out friggin standing!

I personally wouldn't touch the tank with badges for you already have them on the side covers.

Extremely clean lines and detailed work, excellent!
Just love it..

When I see completed projects like this, then I know it's still worth the extra time, energy and $$$ we all put into our envisions/creations. Truly beautiful!

Thanks man! I never thought I would ever finish it. This is kind of like one of those life-long "I actually started and finished a cool project" type things for me. I always wanted one that looks just like this .. low, black, chrome, muscle, edgy without going to overboard. I am honored you guys are saying such nice things about it. Makes it all worth it!!

My wife has been seeing this thing for years with no tank or plastic. When i put it on the other day she said, "Wow, that is what its supposed to look like?!? It's nice ... i always thought it looked like sh_t!"

Sounds pretty nice under acceleration. Nothing too out of the ordinary on idle. Not too loud, but not too nice at 10pm at night in a townhouse. The sound kind of reminds me of this old Yoshimura pipe i had on a KZ 1000 I used to have.

You can remove the baffle on it. I bought some new packing and put it in. I had it ceramic coated to look moch-chrome. Wasn't 100% happy with the job so I polished and buffed out the back of it. Not as shiny but I couldn't stand looking at the orange peel finish it had.

I still want a left side exiting Denco. I been looking for 3 years and never even seen one yet.

I was going to go with that digital setup but changed my mind .. I suck with electronics!! I made new whiteface plates in Photoshop and backlit them with some blue LEDs. Other then that and the chrome, they are stock.

Yea, those Denco's are sweet. I had one on my MKII when I got it and ended up trading it for an RC. Man, I wish I had that Denco back now! The left exit was cool - really different. That pipe made some amazing power too. I don't know what I was thinking when I got rid of it:huh: :S

brich, It isn't often that I can say this, but there is nothing on that bike that I don't like. The workmanship and the design of your bike is smokin. I love the slammed look and although I normally don't like the Z-1's with the rear fender eliminated, on this bike and with the Corbin seat it looks good. I have to admire your patience as well, 4 years is a long time to stick to a project. My hat's off to you, very nice job and it would be a good choice for BOTM.

Yeah I have had an eBay search set up for a while and nothing ever seems to come up. Mine is an H.B.E. and from what I have been told, these were made when Denco was upset with they were putting out and broke off and made H.B.E. Mind you, I have no idea how true it is though, just what I was told.
