Like the color combo. Should pop.

And for the 810cc big bore, you hafta get a 750 cylinder and bore out the top of the crankcase for the sleeves to fit into.

MTC 831 KIT (top case bored/o-ringed and resleeved)13:5:1 pistons (gas ported), Kenny Harmon 410 lift cams(heads cut to accept cam profile), stock rods (shot peened hardened by falicon),manley 1 piece s.s. valves 31mm exhaust, stage III port/polished head(could get a golf ball in dem ports)APE case studs, hvy duty valve springs(V&H)stock retainers as they can handle 2x's stock power, crank lightened(falicon),1st gear undercut, barnett race clutch/hvy duty springs, Mikuni 29mm smoothbores, Dyna Ign & Blue Coils, andrews ign wire.
This engine ran 10.30-50's all day long on daeco race fuel and upset many a 1000 in my street racing days (ultimate sleeper)and anyone around can tell you the sweet sound of a harmon camed KZ (serious lope)hella mid range top end. Engine was 5k back in 81. I still have it sitting on shelf at parents home, it will be going in a 81 kz 550 this winter, he he time to have more fun on the streets. Good luck with your build.

Where did you get those shocks???? How much were they???
Shocks look like those off a ZRX 11OO/1200. Check ebay or local wrecking yards to see if a ZRX is in.

The 600 ninja tranny is the same thing as the gpz550 and kz550 trannys, just a lot easier to find.
What years from the 600 ninjas tranny will fit? This is something I'd like to do one of these next winters

Have to correct you on getting the 750 cyl and bore out. I did the following mods back in 81 to my 79 650.
MTC 831 KIT (top case bored/o-ringed and resleeved)13:5:1 pistons (gas ported), Kenny Harmon 410 lift cams(heads cut to accept cam profile), stock rods (shot peened hardened by falicon),manley 1 piece s.s. valves 31mm exhaust, stage III port/polished head(could get a golf ball in dem ports)APE case studs, hvy duty valve springs(V&H)stock retainers as they can handle 2x's stock power, crank lightened(falicon),1st gear undercut, barnett race clutch/hvy duty springs, Mikuni 29mm smoothbores, Dyna Ign & Blue Coils, andrews ign wire.
Hmm, I don't see a correction, just another way of doing it.
kxhonda, I haven't tried it yet (just haven't got around to it) but I think you can use the six speed gears on the 650 output shaft and avoid doing all that work on the countershaft sprocket end. I have done some research (comparing part numbers, etc.) on swapping the gears onto a 750 output shaft, and it appears likely to work. I picked up a shaft drive 550 six speed trans (because the shaft drive transmissions are really cheap) to try it.
And your motor build is pretty much the same as I'm building, just haven't got the bucks for the cams yet so I'm using GPz750 cams.

Not sure what other years of Ninjas used the same gears, there were a few more sets on ebay when I got mine off there.
Steell, I had the same idea about using the 6sp gears on my 650 output shaft so I stripped the gears off of both shafts and found out that the 650 was a bigger OD. Length was just a tad different also. Looks like a I'm gonna have a bit of machining to do. I hate cutting splines.
