i need to fill oil up and clean carbs one more time, and finish putting chassis parts on and it does need a paint job, but thats only looks! she will be kind of a sleeper bike (dont look to good now) i hope i can get it done this week and start riding next week after i get my insuarance going

Hi steveo, looks a bit like my bike when I first got it.

I am just amazed how many KZ650-B1's show up here... and here I thought they were relatively rare. Go figure.

I'm using the same approach as you. Get it to work, get it to work reliably then work on the looks. This year I think I've reached the reliability stage... lots of riding compared to wrenching. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

This winter, funds permitting, the face lift.

I'm really looking forward to seeing where you go with this project... any chance of saving the original paint?

Best of success! :)

Bill

I have a brand new dynamo cover for that bike.

I mean it is mint. If you want it I am sure that we can work something out.

Just send me a PM and I can send you a photo of it.

KZ650 B1, B2 are my favorite of the KZ series. I just love the spoked rims.

Rockin\' a KZ650B2 since 2007 and a KZ 1000E since 2008
