Nice! :P :P

That grey frame really looks good with orange.

I got the same issue with sprocket/chain/frame. :S
But I am sure we will overcome.

I love this bike....

Question...
I basically have the same set up and to gain the 40 degree turn raidus
I had to move my tank, seat and rear tail section back ~ 1".

It doesn't seem you moved yours back at all or very little...
Is this correct?

OMR

I just recently noticed the same thing with mine. i just put on the zx9 front end. i havent put the motor back together yet. When i took the bike out of the bacement i noticed it had a very poor turning radius.I guess i wont be doing any quick u turns.LOL.Cant be any worse than a chopper i guess.

"i noticed it had a very poor turning radius"
Me too, and in researching the OEM KZ900 is should be 40 degrees.

In moving it back 1/2" I gained a little but nowhere near 40 degree specification, probably somewhere around 30 degrees off center. I have since re-done this ~ 1" and now good. Downfall is I had to fabricate some new under seat mounts and move the tail section back as well.

Arrrrgggghhhhh! This never ends...
Thank the KZ GOD's I have a welder!

BTW... In elongating the tail section holes drill & Dremel (DupliColor Metal Cast paint) Not one chip! Held up surprising well...

i saw a bike pic recently where the guy put dents or recesses in the tank to allow the forks to turn further. There are many ways to skin a cat.LOL.

The lack of chipping is very good news for u . i supose that means that i have done something incorectly since mine chips so easily. The learning never stops.I just hate the part where u learn from your mistakes.LOL
