wow i love the way this thing is coming together.i love the machined and fabbed parts,this thing should be killer the way it's going so far.

Holy Cow! It's been a long time since I posted. Things have been moving slowly along, thus the lack of updates. Doug I think it's the odd angle of the photo along with the angle of the bracket conspiring to make it look longer than it is.

Only progress has been to graft a ZRX1100 fuel filler onto the KZ tank. That and continued parts gathering.

i have really wanted to do something like this. How hard was it? Any tips, or instructions for me if i do it on my kz?

Depends on how good you are at body work, cutting and welding. The hardest part is figuring out how to match the contours of the donor tank with the KZ tank. You can see the filler basically showing the pattern I ended up with.
