Welcome welcome !!!
If it just needs a chain and carb re-builds, then you got a bargain !!! Congrats.
How is the shape of the rest of the bike?
Do all the electrics work?
How long has it sat?
What city was it in?
When was the last time it ran?
Post often and take pictures and post them too.
You can add your bike to your profile so it will show at the bottom of your posts.

Any bike that will run after carb cleaning and a chain for $50 is a good deal. Z1R fetch a good price if in good condition.
However, I believe in the US, there was only a '78 and '80 model of the Z1R. Are you sure it is a '79 or a Z1R?
