Kz550 some winter progress was created by violentvintagecycles
Been playin around in the garage, still a little cold but some days have been in the mid 40's. Stripped to the frame, doing some sanding and cleaning.

Hey VVC,

If those brown spots are truly rust, they didn't come from that wheel. It's aluminum.

Whatever time it takes to make your bike nice will be time well spent . The 550's are great bikes , although they seem to be outnumbered and underrepresented on here .
Are you in NY , or are you just a Giants fan (avatar photo) ? I live near Kingston , about 90 mis north of NYC . I have a bit of 550 experience and a lot of parts if you have any ??'s
