Hehe, I hope I will ride it soon!, Its a little clutch issue I try to figure out now...its not reacting at all, only hard all the time, so will have a look at it tomorrow.
Gun-Kote time!
Since my oven was not big enough to take a swingarm I modified it.

First off: cool 1100! Is it an 83 or an 84?
Second: you're sick and twisted, but totally committed. My kind of scum! Drive on, don't let me slow you down...I'm jonesing for more pics!

Hi RoyNor ....
Rene, from Mexico here.
Nice, exquisite, detailed work you are doing there, keep it up CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
I am puting things together to restore my '73 Z1. It has some broken head fins. I will replace it with another one I got on E-Bay. I used a degreaser and some soap to get it clean and ready for paint but I am not satisfied yet because it shows no grease but some surface kind of dirt or scale holds up real tough on hard to get at crevices. Looking at your "before" pictures on your bike I am sure you dealt with this problem ??
As you might know the engine on the Z1 is painted black. In order for me to paint the head and repaint the rest of the engine, it has to be real clean.
My question is: how did you accomplished that ?? what products/procedures were used ?? media blast ?? what kind of media .. or wathever ??
I appreciate your help and cooperation.
Saludos,
Rene.
