I'm kinda disappointed with my gas cap.... I tried to fix it and it's worse now than when I started?????? I'm going to take a hole saw to it and start over. Hopefully my next attempt will be better?

just starting into all my mechanical endeavors and seeing the craftsmanship in this bike have given me something to look up to, thank you PK thank you very very much....tear
I've been in the metalworking trade for 14 years now. When I started there weren't many interested in teaching people about it. I went to college and received an associates degree in machine technology. After 2 years of hard work going through school I realized the first week on my new job that I didn't know shit. I still read every book I can get my hands on on the subject. It has taken a few more years to get where I feel comfortable doing some of this stuff. I realize that sometimes I make mistakes and I have became less afraid of them because I have gained the knowledge to repair them;) I appreciate your comments and it makes me feel good that people feel this way about the work that I do.
Sandy, A KZ650 clock would look great in my shop:woohoo: I might have to make one now.
This weekend I did the WG's coil mod and added an electronic ignition off of a KZ750 and installed Dyna coils and new 8mm suppression core wires. I can't believe how much difference it all made :woohoo: B)I an sorry that I waited so long to do this stuff.
Ride Safe, Wes
