Are you asking about the Z1 Classic? It would be a 1015cc bike, not a 900. Difficult to evaluate without pictures as the prices are variable, depending on condition, mileage, if the FI still functions, etc. etc. We need more info:)

Again, it is difficult to properly evaluate w/out seeing the bike (or pictures thereof)...but I am aware of KZ1000G models (the bike in question) that have sold for as little as US$750 or as much as US$2800 or more. You can assume that the high-end sale was a low-mileage cherry. If you are interested in restoring the bike, you should be aware that this was a one-off model and that some body parts are difficult to locate...if it has the original FI, you should also be aware that it was problematical and most running bikes have switched to carbs...which can be troublesome as the fuel injectors are affixed directly to the head, meaning you have to plug those holes or swap heads. On a positive note, the motor is a MKII motor and that is a good thing.

Wow, this is like the 2nd thread about one of these for sale in the past 2 weeks.
If you are going for a full restore, it's going to be really hard because it has the chrome inserts on the gas tank. I don't think that you can even buy these separate or if you can get a replacement tank.
this tank has a return hold and a check valve.

Heh - I asked about this model a few days ago, as a neighbor of mine has one in his yard under a tarp. I was trying to induce him into letting it go, but that has not happened - and reading a bit more about this beast, I think I should just let it go. I have one old maintenance monster now, do I really need two?
