I have started the 1978 Z1R restoration project, first thing is getting the bike stripped and bagging all the nuts and bolts. We all know how easily the bike comes apart, its being able to put it back together that is the tricky part.

Hey Night_Train0 - I can tell that you are already stuck. In over your head right? To save yourself a lot of hassle and to free up some time to work on the other bike, fire me off a U2U with your home address and I will come and grab the Z1R from you. Those old bikes didn't sell very well when they were new so they probably aren't worth much these days and I hate to see a fellow Canuck suffer over a worthless old K classic.

I can tell that you are in Canada 'cause you have the Canadian Tire bike lift there.

Good luck with the project and keep us posted on your progress. :)
