Do to my lack of self control, I can't help but share with you my friends Suzuki GS750. This bike is crazy! Notice the suicide shift! Hard tail, Kawi tank. Everybody walks by everybody elses bike just to try and figure out what this thing is. Great fun.

The 750 looks absolutely awesome. Very clean!

A couple things:

What did you do with the luggage rack? That particular rack (for this model) is kinda rare and coveted. Fetches a tidy sum on eBay usually...

Where did you get the red rear signal lenses? I've always wanted them myself.

What did you use to get the engine so clean?

What did you do with the front brake line? That master cylinder looks pretty tight in there; I can't make it out int he pic, but clearly you must've replaced the line with stainless steel or something...

Biquetoast,
Thanks man. I am glad you like it! Ok... The luggage rack, is the luggage box that is shown in the first picture on this thread. I still have it, and was about to sell it in a garage sale. Is that the one that is ebay worthy? The red signal lens where on the bike when I got it, so I don't know where they came from, or where to get more. The engine was polished with White Diamond Metal Polish. It is manufactured in Boone, IA. My dad was using it to polish out his Cessna 172. You can buy it here...

It works fantastic and is ultra easy to use. Hand rub, no buffer required. Well worth the price and does great on aluminum, and chrome.

Believe it or not I did not need to replace the brake line. It is pain changing bars sometimes. Getting the clubmans to work on my honda was a real pain. Then after they were on, they were a pain in the wrists and hands! The master cylinder is just jammed in there nice and tight. The thottle cables, and the clutch cable had to be re-routed, and are all the stock cables, in standard length. Be patient when doing a bar change. Experement with routing and make it look clean with lots of black zip ties!

The stripes are one thing I did not attempt myself. And you are right, without the stripes, old bikes one color are Ugly. I went to the local grafix shop and had them take digital pictures and write down measurements of the original stripes before I went home and sanded the tank. Then they did up the stripes for me in the colors of my choice. Just find your local grafix shop who is doing the lettering for all the race car guys in your area and see if they can help you out. I paid $50 to have mine done.
