I know it's not a KZ, so consider yourself warned.
Here's what the bike looked like when I bought it in an ebay auction in Sep, 2006:

OMG Tim, that thing is uglier than a handful of dirty a$$holes!

Just kidding!

It sure looks like it's in great physical condition.
How's it run and handle?
As comfortable as it looks, I'd imagine it's probably not to hard to nod off if driving any great distances?

R4:
I only rode the bike for a few weeks before I started the resto. It's kind of like riding in a convertable car, only with less wind, lol! It's fast and smooth. I have to take care not to scrape the floorboards in the curves, but it handles well for a 750 lb luxo barge.

Now that she has the place of honor, sitting on my new Christmas present, the serious work can begin.

Sooooo, I'm willing to bet that the Voyager would be more rider friendly (plus probably only one fuel stop needed) if you plan on doing the "Ride The Coast" ride next year?
An added benefit would be that your missus just might not mind ridng pillion with all the doo-dads and gadgets (stereo, plush seating, etc.) if you do decide on going next year. ;)

Annette hates riding on the 900. Just too naked for two-up riding.
On our first ride on the Voyager, I was getting the feel of the bike, working on my line thru the curves, concentrating on driving, when I hear her in the backseat saying, "Oooooh, loooook! Cows!" She's definitely more comfortable on the Voyager.
