Torque specs was created by YMF
Hello forum. First time poster here. I have an 83’ KZ550 for restoration/ modernization and am currently on reassembly. I have the Clymer manual and on the torque spec page there are 18 different torque values. Seems like a pretty low amount to me, especially for how many one-off bolts/nuts there are. (But maybe that’s just me, this is my first time working on a vehicle after all) Are there any other resources that have more detailed specs for torque settings? Or if anyone can tell me at least the value for part #92015. Thanks.

The factory service manual has the most complete information. They come up now and then on eBay and similar sites. Once the Filebase of KZR is restored, I am pretty sure there is one you can download for free there.
Also, there is some important information on the 550 here-- s3.amazonaws.com/gpzweb/index.html
Anything useful you find there you should copy now. Lou died not long ago (God rest his soul), so his website will likely disappear one day without warning.
I do not know what a 90215 is, so I can't help with that.

As TexasKZ said, the Factory manual will have the most complete information. Most of the Kawasaki FSM's I've seen have a table listing suggested torque values according to the thread size in addition to the ones shown by fastener function. Be careful, some of the values shown will be in INCH-LBS.
Oh, and get yourself a set of JIS screwdrivers, your bike will thank you.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

The attached torque values come from the Kawasaki manual for the KZ500/550 models from 1979 to 1985. I think you are asking about the nut on the front axle. Looks to be two values, but the main one is 58 ft-lb.
