Hello from Mexico!!! was created by Ilfrid
Hello guys, Nice to meet you!!!!

My name is Jesus Salas, I live on Aguascalientes right in the middle of Mexico.

Currently I'm Resto-modding a Z1 900 or Z900 not completely sure, Year is 1976 and serial number matches with a Z900 but frame has Z1 900 Seat lock style so I'm a little confused about it.

Either way since It was completely trashed by the previews owner there was not meaning for me to restore it so my path is the Resto mod path.

I hope I you guys can help me if I have some trouble during the build, later on I will start a post with updates on the build.

I will try to attach some pics from my bike, I hope you can se them, as you may notice the engine is from a KZ1000 and the bike is disguise as one, but the serial number is Z1F-097293 so I'm sure the bike is older that the engine.

That all for now.

Greeting from Mexico!!!

Welcome.  Looks like a fine platform for a resto mod.  If the frame hasn't been butchered & the frame VIN# stamping is intact, could even be a starting point for a full-on stock Z1 re$$$toration.
