Should I Buy this KZ750 CSR? was created by Tervman
Hi,
I am looking to climb back into the saddle, after having been away from the bike world for the last 30 years. There is a local shop that has a 1982 KZ750 CSR for sale. It has just under 18K miles. They are asking $1500 for the bike.
I realize nobody on this forum could know the history of the bike, but my general question is this....if the bike is in good condition (which it appears to be), is $1500 too much $$$ to pay,
OR does it seem about right, for that model bike,
OR does it seem like a "what a deal...grab it while you can".
I have attached a pic of the bike.
Thanks,
Larry Cooper

Just be sure to get a test ride out of 'em. Then check all of the regular things tire condition, front fork seals, BRAKES, Oil leaks, rust in the tank, etc...
Also make sure the bike feels good to you and your riding style.
If all checks out OK then $1500 seems an OK price albeit on the high side.
Take care and ride safe
I agree! Offer $1000 and see what they say. If they won't go for it then up it to $1100-$1200. The Bike looks to be in OK shape as far as I can see from the pic.is that front tire dry rotted around the rim or is it just the picture?tell em $1000.00 cash is all you can get and see what they say.i bet they didnt give that for it.
