Hiya All, new to the forums.
Been riding KZ's for years, but finally picked up an 82 KZ1000J. Needs work but planning on restoring it soon.
But all in all, glad I found this site and hope to participate more now that I know its here!
Thanks again,
Bob

Thanks!
This is by far the coolest forums I've ever visited.
I've had 76 KZ750 twins, 83KZ750 Belt drive , 81 KZ650CSR, but I'm totally loving this new 1000J.
The bike sat for about 5 Years, but am about to do rings and ride this poor thing everyday.
The wife says this year I can buy a new bike, (Aiming at a ZRX1200) but could never part with my KZ fetish lol
Heck, prolly the reason I've been in the motorcycle industry for 17 years now and manage an aftermarket parts/accessories shop for a living lol.

Hey Bob:
You have to watch those wives...they are pretty crafty. If she told you that you can get a new ZRX1200 this year...she probably realized that Kawasaki discontinued the line this year in North America...and you aren't getting a new bike this year:laugh:

Nates vintage bike axiom: Riding is the reward for time spent wrenching.
Murphys corollary: Wrenching is the result of time spent riding.

Well, working in the industry for so long has some benefits heh.
American released models I can usually find out just about anything for, but Euro/Canadian I'd have to make a few calls, but I'd be happy to help in any way I can.
