hey guys, new to the site. been riding for a while now. friend of mine just sold me a 79 kz 650- it's going to be my fun little project toy....... any good recommendations would be greatly appreciated. thanks james

Welcome aboard. The 650's a great bike, and you can do lots to it.
I was looking at one a month ago, but it got bought before I could get to it.
I was going to go streetfighter... low bars, corbin seat, maybe a 750 Wiseco kit.
Whatever you do, take some pics (before & after), and post them on the site. We all love to look.

Welcome aboard, Mitchell (or is it James? :blink: ).
Spend a few hours poking around and you will find that just about anything can be done to a 650. Everything from original restorations to bobs to "in the day" race replicas and anything in between.
Just provide plenty of pics!
