Though you guys might like a pic of my bike, it's not technically a KZ but it's close enough. it's a 1978 Kl250 thats been getting the cafe racer/ street fighter treatment. Here are couple of older pictures i'll try and get the newerones up soon. Hopefully it's
going to get an 18" front wheel and a hand made aluminum front fender, and a 345cc big bore with a 36mm flatslide pumper carb, but i have been busy
with school and my other project a motorcycle chassis dyno.

Welcome to KZr, Kurt.
Sounds/looks like it has some potential there.
Some of the "Frankestein" bikes can not only be head turners, but pack a real wallop!
And yes, please be sure to post some more (and newer) pics of your project as it goes along.

Thanks
It's not really a frankenbike, it's basically a kz250,
that was equipped for dirt, turned into a street machine.

Looking pretty good!
I'm pretty sure I can place what the rear "duck bill" fender is off of ('78 Kawi KZ650C2 Custom, right?), but are the side covers and fuel tank stock?

How'd you guess the tail is a 650 piece.....
The tank is factory, and the side covers are
homemade out of 'glass, but they are coppied off the originals, that i didn't have.
