Hi to all and my bike was created by gerpster
Hi to all on KZR.
I have just joined recently and have found all the information here fantastic. I have many bikes but my new baby is my KZ1100A3 which I found a few weeks ago. She runs very well but has been off the road for about 12 months in storage and was a bit dirty and neglected. After a few parts from ebay USA and hours of cleaning and polishing she is looking good.
I need to paint the rear guard and get a new rear tyre. The side covers were home made by the previous owner so I painted them up and added some flames...hard to see in this photo. I like to keep things original so I have some original side covers coming from the US soon (gonna cost me about 1/10th the price of the bike!!!!).
She has a GPZ1100 exhaust system i think so I may be stuck with it as getting an original exhaust system down under will be near impossible. :S
Cheers to all from Canberra, Australia.
Greg.

Nice bike! The GPz exhaust works visually...I really like what it does for the bike!

Welcome Greg.
I see the GPz900 is for sale. Are you aiming for a different riding position?

Welcome to KZr gerpster.
I agree, that GPz exhaust really compliments your bike.

I agree, the GPZ exhaust looks like it belongs there! A little clean up, a little paint and the exhaust will look factory installed! I like it!

Well, thanks for the great welcome and since the gpz exhaust seems to be a winner it may just get cleaned up and left there!!!
Yeh the gpz900 is a great bike but on long rides the riding position gets very tiring for me. My arms and wrists ache badly. I wanted a big shaftie cruiser so the KZ fits the bill really well.
Oops yeh the Honda sign has to go. My KZ has taken over from the CX as THE bike in the garage. Just love those shafties...
