hey peeps ive been away from kz,s for a year or 2...had a couple of knee operations last summer...kinda puts things on hold...anyway i sold my 77 kz650.....and really regret it...butt i picked up a 76xs650 yamaha for a caffe project...just to keep me buzy for now...i wont be done for the summer.....so now i have my eye on anthoer kz.... ....any way...just hoping to get anyones 2 cents on this model of kz....its an 83 kz750l3...i think its an l3 anyway....theres one or 2 in the gallery ive seen.....its not a gpz..its the all black one with the red/orange strips...anyway just looking for some feedback on that model.....thanx...jason....nova scotia canada.

The KZ750 L3 you're refering to is pretty much identical to the '82 GPz750 in almost every way, except for the obvious paint diff and I believe the L3 had a chrome(?) exhaust.
Kawi even offered a small quarter fairing like the GPz had in matching colors for the L3.
IIRC, Kawi only offered the L3 for one year.
So although not as popular and collectible as an ELR or Z1R, it's still a rare model.

I love the look of the 750L3, black with stripes. Nice bike. Give us some pics when you can.
