for the part number for your rear brake switch. I have one from a 78 650 part number 27010-017 around here.
Its in the picture right next to the kick starter.
I hope when you jumped it you didnt have the vehicle you jumped it with running, if so check how your battery is charging now with a voltmeter.

apeman, the turn signal switch it still confusing me. It has three positions, not just two for "M" and "A". When its in the middle, it points at the word turn. ????

Ive learned from experience on jumping these bikes also.
I dont have a speedo cable but I will part with the brake switch. Check your PMs on the main page.
