Greetings All. New member from North Carolina. I ride a 1983 KZ550LTD. I bought it 4 years ago, bike had 6,500 miles on it. I'll post a picture later.

Hi tazd and welcome to the forum.
There are quite a few KZ550 riders in here now. Be sure to post a pic of your bike in the KZ550 section of the gallery. I've had mine for 2 years now, didn't know anything about it when I got it, but it's proven to be a great all purpose bike, very reliable, economical, very nimble for city riding and with adequate power for highway cruising. I hope you enjoy yours too

Thanks for the welcome. I love my KZ!! I ride to my family reunion each year (bought 1000 miles round trip) and every where that I can in between. I'm looking for a good picture to post, just had the tank and side panels painted first of this year.
