Chris at Motogpwerks is a known good guy. He has been whipping up stainless Yoshi replica exhausts for the cb750 guys for quite some time. I know, at least with the cb750's, that you can call him and if he doesn't have one done, it won't be long before he makes more, and his prices are great. Cool to see he is making these for Kawi's. Apparently, he used to work for Yoshimura, and Motogpwerks currently does work for some Motogp teams, so he certainly knows what he is doing. Kapahulu, how did your pipe fit? Some of the cb750 guys had slight fitment issues with their pipes, where either Chris fixed it for them, or it was minor enough that they tweaked it on there and lived with it.

The guy's name is Chris. Most of his pipes have a can on the end and they cost about $50 more.
If you want a pipe like mine, tell him you want the Yoshi style like he sold to Mike in Hawaii. I'm not sure if he has anymore but maybe he'll whip up a batch.

The price is certainly reasonable & it looks great!
The only thing I don't like about Kerker, Yosh and especially Bassani is the collector is too big for a small motor. People complained about the fit and finish of Vance & Hines but they got the design right...

Here's the pipe with a can on the end.
Here's the pipe with a can on the end.

Give me a week or two to get the pipe on and I'll post pics and a video.
Yes I carefully put the pipe on the ground. No scratches.
I'm not sure what I'll do with the chrome Kerker. I have 2 KZ1000's and 2 KZ900's. Selling the 1979 KZ1000 LTD today. The carport is crowded and I'm trying to free up some space.
The nice thing about having similar bikes is when I buy a KZ part it can often fit all of them. So if I don't sell the chrome Kerker I'll find another use for it.
