You'll need to jack up the rear and spin the wheel.
Rim could be bent.
Are all the spokes tight?
Wheel bearings shouldn't be a problem from sitting.
Maybe the wheel is not lined up straight with the frame?
thanks for the response Rex:
yea there is no center stand, and i have no mc jack. So i'm wondering how i'm going to get the bike up to take the wheels off in the future. anyone have any tricks?
I haven't checked the spokes, actually i have NEVER touched spokes before. How do i go about checking them? Do they thread into the rim?
I crudely checked the wheels alignment by looking at the notches on either side of the swing-arm and it appears to be correct.

Take a step back, take a deep breath and exhale slowly.
i would hate for u to do anything rash, then regret it later.
just give it a rest for a while and rethink it later.
You have done a fantastic job , and u r sooooo close.
u cant imagine the satisfaction u will feel when this bike finally runs.
hang in there.

watching this thing roll off with someone else will rip your guts out.
you would regret it before they could get around the corner.
take some time away if needed,
if not go bang your head up against the damn thing until you figure out how to overcome your obstacle.
it would have to feel pretty crappy to not see it through now,
forever,
Everytime you think about it,
you would just wanna puke.
thats my.02 fwiw,

Just a suggestion, but pick up a 88-92 Gsxr750/1100 arm and get a matching rim to your front end. Some of those 750's during that era used a 4.5" rim and are perfect for use with a 170 tire.
Unless you have a really good reason that you want to use the ZX6 rim...
Later, Doug

Thank you,
I am still pondering things. I just spent 45 minutes looking at my own thread, I don't know if I can sell, there is just too much work and heart poured into this thing.

Well, I haven't posted anything up in the build section for awhile. I keep changing my mind as far as what direction I'm going in. Anyway I already picked up a 93 gsxr front end so now I need a swingarm. I have a 78 kz650c3. Any suggestions on a swing arm that will work that will fit a 07 zx6r wheel with a 170 tire?
Thanks,
MS
