Got the Suzuki Bandit speedometer cable, it fits !!!!!

Powder coated the top clamp... his is an 89 GSXR top clamp with the ignition boss removed, two holes drilled for the pro-

taper bar mounts, and a bracket bolted into the bottom stock bosses for KZ gages

Spdygon, youre right about the 180 in the swingarm .I know the GS1100 was made for a 140 but I reckon I might be able to fit a 160 into it without too much hassle.

So the search is on for a rear wheel that'll take a 17x160 tire. Im looking for something that'll match with the 3 spoke front ('95 ZX9R) . So far Ive come up with the 650 Bandit, the FZR 600R(94/95) and the ZX6R(95/96).
If anybody has any other ideas, please let me know. Im stalled until I can get this sorted.

(Something that takes a 20mm axle would be good)

Thanks bro! I think you can get by with a bit of offset in the front and rear wheel centerline, but I personally would try to get it as close as possible. Assemble it without spacers at the swing arm and wheel. Have the shocks bolted up. Align the sprockets and then build your spacers. Set the fore and aft of the wheel a bit forward of centered in the axle hole.

Heres how it stands at the moment. Original forks ,swingarm and wheels.

Anyone whos looked into a swingarm swap on this website will recognize the GS1100 Swingarm.

Though from what Ive read, Fitting in the frame is a simple matter of spacing with a couple of washers. Its going to take a bit more than a couple of washers to fill this. The CSR frame must be wider at the pivot bolt than the other
900/1000 frames. Be aware.

Also The GS1100 should be 1 1/2 to 2 inches (3.5 to 5.0cm) longer than the standard swingarm. Not so with the CSR. Im measuring original swingarm at 46cm (18.1 inch)

and the GS1100 swingarmat 47cm (18.5)

Which is good news as it'll mean I wont lose any height at the back end.Though I will still need to change the shocks as the mounts are different.

I had the same problem with spacing the swingarm on my 78 KZ1000 frame till z1wiz told me how he did it.
He gave me 2 of the thick flat washers that are used on the top of the KZ triple trees.
I slid one on each side and was done. They fit perfect.
Looks like you need the swingarm dust covers and thrust washers also?
The dust cover part number is. 61262-49201 (82-83 SUZ GS1100 swingarm)
I don't have the thrust washers part number though.

the tail and seat can be used.
but,
you are going to have to create some mounts and probably weld them on.

you may have an easier time just wrapping the area in saran wrap and fiberglassing yourself a pan up so it fits the tail in the rear and the tank in the front.

keep up the good work,
and keep us posted.

Thanks Leon... They is no way I'm using this seat......way too ugly. I'll order a Corbin and make it work. And the carrier will be on the way as soon as I can figure out how much I need to trim off..

The Tail. My Bike came with an Squared Tail/Fender, which I don't like. I love the Duckbill fender (which you see now). It is just sitting on there and not mounted. Does anyone have a suggestions on how I go about doing this? Also, I want to get a corbin seat. Would it be difficult to mount a seat made for a KZ900 (Duckbill) to my bike?

The GSXR 1000 Front end. I had Leon drill holes so I could mount Rental Fatbars.

The Swingarm, and Rear Shocks.
