Is this your new home ?
What state ?

We bought this as an investment, we may renovate the old house not sure yet. This is in southern Indiana.

Below is a video link (if it works) of the guy clearing the property, he worked 5 days 8 to 10 hours a day great guy and very hard worker.

Reminds me of the cabin at Hole in the Hills. 180ac in the Yola Bola mountain range. 200yr old cabin and Lincoln log two story barn. The cabin had a rock foundation but the lumber was great. We replaced the foundation little by little and replaced the plank siding with plywood and cedar shake as siding. Apple trees growing along Bee Gum Creek, deer walking around like dogs, bear prints over ours every morning, peace and quiet always. It was once owned by a woman named Bell Acres so she named it "Belly Acres". Found her paperwork under the cabin. I still have the entertainment center I built out of the old plank siding.
The road coming in was steep with two switch backs and a flat car for a bridge over the creek. Bossie and my old truck made it in and out all right but the 20 mile logging road had you on the edge of your seat the whole way dodging logging trucks.
Alost met the Ranger the hard way on that road. "Hey hey hey Mr. Ranger sir, got any picnic  baskets?
An adventure of a lifetime.
Steve

You might be safe from the tree huggers, it doesn't look like it was an old growth forest.

That looks like nice flat land. Beautiful.
Try and remove that asbestos siding before local authorities get involved. The stuff is the kiss of death for property values. (And possibly for those who remove it. Wear properly rated safety equipment).
