I'm going to take a wild guess that this is aimed at me   bottom line is any advice and opinions I have expressed here are based on over 40 years experience earning my living in the automotive industry. I have always been happy to be challenged on my input as long as that challenge has the backing of sound technical knowledge or experience (telling me I'm talking s*#t will be ignored) I am always willing to learn (I have learnt much from the membership for which I am grateful) Ultimately all advice and opinions posted here by everyone are done so freely and out of goodwill, wether you choose to take the advice or not has always been optional
Be well

Most of this guy's posts were on one thread where he was trying to help someone with carbs.  There was conflicting advice that likely pissed him off.  I've seen it in other threads where someone is looking for help and several eager people will throw differing advice at him.  Perhaps it's better if only one person provides guidance, regardless of whether our opinion differs.  Think about it from the perspective of the receiver...conflicting advice is just a headache.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Or just have thicker skin, give your advice and move on.

I agree. I have been corrected several times, never have I felt it was mean, spiteful, or with an arrogant tone. If someone has had a different outcome of the same procedure it’s in everyone’s best interest to know, it adds to your ability to properly use the procedure. Everyone needs to have the ability to learn from their mistakes. AKA thicker skin. Successful people surround themselves with intelligent people, and everyone learns together.
