As everyone knows I've been trying to acquire the
paint code for the 78 z1r. I read somewhere that
the paint for a 72 amc is the same. Well it is not.
I recently purchased a NOS gas tank from ebay and
had the color matching done. I purchased 2 quarts and
I will list the paint code here on monday. The paint
is a base coat clear coat.

The manufacturer of this paint is Diamont and the
code is M6 040.00 , it is a base coat clear coat.
This paint sells for about $70 a quart.
