Hi Ian, yes i know what you mean, as you get older the riding position on some models really makes you ache had a Suzi GSXR 1000 for a while, did track days etc, very quick and scary at times would wheelie in 5 gears if you let it, but it had to go as really made my back and everything else ache too! Next  bought Honda Blackbird, had this for over 15 years loved it, but decided my biking days were behind me, regretted it almost immediately so bought a VFR800 again nice bike, but always, wanted a Z900 back in my younger days they were the bike to have, finally 45 years later I've finally got 1, just hoping the riding it is worth the wait.
Only time will tell!
