Hi all. I am trying to lower my forks and have a few questions. First, since I have air shocks, if I lower them in the tree, do I have to lower them enough for the air valve to fit back on in the same place on top of the tree? It currently sits just underneath. It would require about 2" of total movement, and I would need to raise my bars about 1 1/2".

Also, can I drive the bike safely with no air in the forks? Without air, they lower to a nice ride height with no adjustment, but are a bit mushy...

You're gonna want some air in that fork...

Pull the fork tubes out of the clamps, take the air collars off. Move the collars above the triple, then put the tubes back in.
