This is kind of a crosspost/repost, and I appologize for that...

I'm collecting materials and resources to rebuild a rear caliper on my '79 B3. It's a two piston setup, and to get the brake juice from one side of the caliper body to the other, there's a seal.

(Part #43049-1004, Desc: RING,SEAL6.5X11.5X2.2)

The K&L rebuild kit I got didn't come with this seal. So I gotta find somethin.

From DUCK I know that it's a flat seal, and suggested perhaps annealed copper could be used.. but that's about it:

Anybody know anything more about this elusive seal? What it's made of, what I can use, etc?

Thanks brothers.

You can order from local dealer or online from ronayers.com
it's $2.43 from ayers but they have minimum $8 std shipping.
if you need other OEM parts, they have the best prices I have found. Typical delivery is 7-10 days. It shouldn't be more than $4 from your local dealer.

Thanks Duck, you're the man.

Now I wind up in that lovely dilemna of - "What else do I need to buy for this bike?"
