I'm trying to decide whether to get clubmans or go with clip ons for my 78 kz750 twin. What size are my forks?
I've been reading from 33mm to 36mm. Anyone know?
I like the fact that you can adjust clipons in and out and up and down, plus if the bike takes a dump you can just replace the side that was damaged. On the other hand the adjustable clubmans look awesome!
Too many choices!

Thanks

36 mm is the fork tube diameter for the 76-80 750 twins.

I'm still squirreling away the pennies for some of those 4 way adj clubmans. Have dropped hints to Santa (girlfriend), some we shall see.
Good luck on your project!

Here's the cheapest, yet very nice, clip-ons I found for 36mm. You need patience to deal with these guys, but they are fair. Once they sent two left-siders instead of a pair. Eventually they sent me the other one and let me keep the extra!

Also, sand down the anodizing on the inside of the clamp. It's slippery and the bars can move with a lot of force. It will fit better when you sand it also.

Most companies want you to buy a pair. I haven't asked these guys if they'd sell them seperately.

I have a full set of Tarozzi clip ons that were for my 81 750 E. I don't remember the fork tube size, but if it is the same and your interested, shoot me an email or PM and we can work out details.
