On my 77 650C1, the master cylinder reservoirs are both round and plastic. The rear is in alot better shape (not as weathered) and would like to switch the 2. Can this be done? buykawasaki.com does not list part #s for them.

Hey LTGTR-. The plastic reservoirs are non-serviceable and therefore not replaceable, you have to buy the whole unit which is no longer available from kawasak Canada as I found out last year. I ended up finding a nice Honda front brake reservoir at the bike boneyard that I swapped in. It looks almost identical including the round cap of the '77 650.

or you can upgrade. I put an 01 zx6r front master cylinder on my bike and I like it a whole lot more.
