hello new member here i just recently bought a 1979 kz 750 and it currently has a mag wheel on front and the spoke wheel on the back i like the mag to be put on the back but it is drum and the spoke wheel has disc also what is the widest tire i can fit on either rim? many questions to come thanks for any input

keep an eye out in the classified for disc brake mag wheel.you should be able to squeeze a 130 back tire on there i would think.

thanks is the wide tire just for looks or does it help with stability

depends on how you ride and how the rest of bike is set up.

those are things id have to mention later cause ive never ridden before and not sure on what makes a difference

I know from other posts that you have made that you have a 750 twin, but now you have me totally confused

The 79 KZ750B4 twin had spoke wheels with single disk front and rear, 19" front and 18" rear.

The 1980 KZ750G twin had mag wheels with single disk front and drum rear, 19" front and 16" rear.

Look on the headstock right behind the forks and post your VIN number so we can figure out exactly what you have.

it does have a mag front tire and a spoke rear tire the guy i bought it off of put the front mag on and not the rear maybe for the reason that it was a drum brake and smaller i like the mags better then the spokes but it seems that i wont be able to put the rear one on with out lowering the front which i am wondering if to lower or not but i did see a rear mag wheel with disc brakes on ebay that i might get if it will fit i will put the vin here tomorrow i would like to know as much as i can about the bike thanks for the help that you and everyone has been giving me
