First thing to do is look at the steering bearings list in the FileBase and see if they both use the same bearings.

I would check buykawasaki.com and compare part numbers for the triple trees and stem bearings. good luck.

well ive talked to a freind that has expeirience rebuilding kz's and he said the axles are a different circumference.
so basically id either have to buy a 78 rim to go with the forks or put the axle on a lathe.
