What should the voltage at the battery be at idle? I have 12.8 VDC is this enough to charge battery and run all the lights?

For the kz440 (81) it says that it should read 14V/DC at idle.

I don't know if that level would be higher for the 1000 or not.But I don't think that it would be by much, if it is.
