i borrowed a mutimeter and has a red, yellow, black, leads on it. what ones do i use? red , black?

never seen one with a yellow lead on it, it might be a AMP lead,
black will be ground or negitive, red line or positive, watch to see if you are on AC or DC, is it digital?

i got it figured out! your right its the amps!
also has points and dwell to!
ill get pics up when i can.

no its not a digital one, this looks like it came from the 70's

I'm thinking that if it also had a green lead, it could be a telephone circuit test set. At least the answer was learned, again. :)

heres a few pics of it,
i know how to use volts, but what about dwell and points?? i dont know how to use them! also has tachometer, and this does NOT have ohms.
it says that 4 cyclinder rpm and dwell use double
8 cyclinder readins( i think i know what that means!)
