i recently acquired a 1979 kz 650b3 from a friend of mine it needs to have the carbs rebuilt and rejetted. it has the pod intake filters and a vance and hines 4 into 1 exhaust and my friend that i bought it from said it may need bigger jets because of the intake and exhaust. if any one out there has had a similar problem or knows what parts i need to fix it and where to find them please let me know. also i need to know where to find the rubber carb mounts that go between the engine and the carbs. if some one can help me i would really appreciate it. thanks

Well since the bike is new to you.Get a manual,go through the the preventive maintance steps all of them with a fine tooth comb no matter how many miles are on it.IE tune up, valve clearance electral connections and so on.Then after you are satisfied with your results you can go on to jetting of the carbs. But you need to make sure everything is up to snuff first other wise you will be chasing your tail.
