Still fighting w/ these carbs!!! So, while rechecking and adjusting the float heights, I notices very small hairline cracks in all four of the brass tubes (don't know what they are called) that come down from the body into the ~4 mm holes in the bowls. The cracks are very fine and run up the tubes about 5 mm from the bottom. Would these cause any problems? If so what can I do about it?

I am really getting close to giving up on these carbs and send them to WG:angry:

I think that those are just for the choke, I dont think it would cause any problems when the bike is running without the choke on (normal running temp)

I'm confused, do you mean the tubes that are connected to the bottom of the float bowl? If so, if those tubes are cracked that is going to cause your carbs to piss right out the overflow tubes.

Or do you mean the ones coming down from the top of the carbs (in the float bowl area?)?
