Where can I find the stock jets and settings for a 77650C1? I have pods and a 4 into 1, and I'm going back to the stock airbox and stock pipes.

Thanks.

Most early 650's seem to have come from the factory with 15 pilots and 97.5 or 100 mains. Up in the LINKS tab on the menu above this, you'll find Z1 Enterprises as an option for your part needs.

The most reliable source is the factory service manual for your bike. My manual only covers the C3 and C4 (that use the VM24SS) and goes back as far as the B2A and D1A that use the VM22SS carbs (this is the model with the pilot screw on the engine side of the bowl with the screw head down). Just for information, here are those specs:

Main Jet: 90
Needle Jet Badge #: O-7
Jet Needle: 5CL10-3 (-3 is the clip position)
Pilot Jet 1: 15
Pilot Jet 2: 50
Throttle Valve Cutaway: 2.0
Design Fuel Level: 30 +-1mm
Service Fuel Level: 3.0 +-1mm

Hopefully that matches your carbs.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I don't have a factory service manual. I only have a Clymer manual, and it doesn't specify any carb settings.

Would it help if I said "please"?

Since I started this thread I have found this file kzrider.com/component/option,com_docman/...oc_download/gid,336/
which gives guidelines for KZ650 jetting, and contains the following:

Example
• Stock main jets: 102.5
• Stock pilot jets: 15
• 2 sizes for 4 into 1 exhaust
• 2 size for pod filters
• Main Jet Calculation = (2+2) - 1 = 3 size main jet increase or 102.5 + (2.5 * 3) = 110
• Pilot Jet Calculation = 1 size pilot jet increase or 15 + (2.5 * 1) = 17

This suggests that this information is correct for stock, but it doesn't say that outright. Also, from another discussion on another Kawasaki forum, it seems that the stock needle position is 4 from the top. Strange thing is, my carbs match the settings above settings exactly, but I have 4 into 1 Kerkers, and air filter pods, which, according the example above, would mean I should have 110 mains and 17 pilots. Can someone look up the stock settings for me, or verify the above information?

Thanks.

Example

• Stock main jets: 102.5

• Stock pilot jets: 15

• 2 sizes for 4 into 1 exhaust

• 2 size for pod filters

• Main Jet Calculation = (2+2) - 1 = 3 size main jet increase or 102.5 + (2.5 * 3) = 110

• Pilot Jet Calculation = 1 size pilot jet increase or 15 + (2.5 * 1) = 17

Those look right to me
