Try nitrogen instead of co2,less issues with moisture that way.

Got the new chain I've been waiting on so now can finish this project
after I put the shop back together as I moved my little shop to a little bit bigger place
this past weekend.
1980 KZ650 F1
ZX750A1 motor.
Wiseco 810cc kit.
Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.

The bike is looking really good. I like the arm on there. I was always a sucker for blue kzs. Looks great

I've set a goal to have the quickest KZ650 in the USA.
but that don't mean shit right ?

I did get the new chain prep'd today any one need some o-ring's for their chain ?
What a PITA pickin the o-ring's out of a 120 link chain.
Here's a video of why I did this to a brand new chain free horsepower.

Test rode it Sat. night was a little cold out so cold street
but could launch it about 8 grand letting the clutch fly
and it'd spin a little but take a full throttle hit and not lift
the front wheel like would before.

what's cold out 55 60 degs

It was 25 below zero here with the wind chill.

3 out of 4 days this winter, we have had a snow pack.

Sounds like you got the sucker to behave Dave.

I'm having all kind of trouble finding a soft compound tire for my bike.

You can find everything for a 17" rim, but a 18" rim, all I could find was a Mickey Thompson slick.....and I doubt that will work on a 3.50 " wide rim.

Shinko 006 Podium is what I run and it's the best 18" I can find work's great.
It's the reason I did the long arm it flat hook's.
