Hey all, still working on my KZ turbo project and I've developed a few EFI parts along the way that I wanted to offer the community if there is any interest.

1. 4x Injector holders (design based on the kaw part) for fitting Ford Racing 440cc High Impedance injectors to stock 750 turbo throttle bodies for improved atomization/higher HP/E85. These injectors do not have a hose style inlet and would need a fuel rail fabricated or hose end adapters purchased separately for the injectors. These would be made from a sintered PA12 nylon plastic and I estimate price to be ~$105 before shipping.

2. A non-weld cam position sensor mount bracket. This would fit a bosch hall or VR sensor over the 2nd or 3rd intake lobe and mounts via the cam cover bolts. Install would require drilling one hole in the cam cover and filing/sanding (or milling) a small portion of the cosmetic ribs to seal an oring. These would be made from a sintered PA12 nylon plastic and I estimate price to be ~$80 before shipping.

3. 36/2 crank position sensor kit. This uses the stock kaw pickup VR sensor with new sheet metal brackets and a laser cut wheel mounted on the kz750 timing advance (this would mount to any 650 or 750). Don't have a price estimate for this yet.

4. Future parts such as single throttle body turbo intake manifolds or ITB boost plenums, exhaust manifolds for Garret GT15/17 turbos, N/A single throttle body intake manifold, hydraulic clutch covers for 650/750 motors.

Here are some pictures... sorry about that, was waiting on parts.

Fuel injector holders for GPZ TBs to mount 440cc Ford Racing Injectors

This is still in development, but here is a preview of a single TB dual plenum turbo manifold.

I doubt I'd ever try to run a turbo, but I've wanted to do an EFI conversion for a long time.  I would probably be interested in some of these things, but you'd need to adapt them for the KZ1000.

I have a set of GPZ1100 TB in a box. I'm guessing your injector adapter would work fine for both the 750 and 1100 TBs.  The cam and ignition sensor brackets would likely need to be tweaked.

If you need dimensions for KZ1000 motor bits and pieces I could probably help you out.

I think you said something similar in my thread years ago? Hahaha

Yep. The gpz 1100 and 750 turbo ITBs are very similar (just the bore is different maybe?) I'm actually using those 1100 ITBs on my 750 turbo you see in the picture.

I'll have to take you up on that offer. Shouldn't be too bad to get some measurements and see what changes would be required for the 1000s

Going to blame this new addition to the garage on DOHC... 1982 KZ1000 LTD chain drive.

Needs some love but you can't complain for $300! I saw this listed a month ago but the details were sketchy (wrong year, no model, 750cc). I realized what it was after I started looking into 1000 EFI parts

Glad I could help.  But remember that the '81+ J motor is different in many small ways from the 73-80 Z1/KZ "big four".  So you may need to pick up a 73-80 bike as well.  Just saying...
