For sale - a brand new, still in original packaging, Performance Machine super lightweight rear disc brake setup. Includes 8.5" rotor, two piston caliper, and caliper hanger. Will replace the stock early KZ1000 (not sure about the later J/GPz application) rear brake setup having (4) - 10mm holes on a 78mm B.C.D. with a 58mm diameter mounting register.

Asking price is $275 plus actual UPS ground shipping charge. Will be shipped from 18106 in a 16" X 17" X 7" box weighing approx. 7 lbs. Payment by Paypal preferred.

Can ship only to U.S. addresses.

If purchased along with the PM rear wheel that I also am selling, I can combine both into same shipping box to save some $$$$'s on shipping.

First "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets it.

Thanks!

Mike

Made a purchase from Dragbike Mike. Great seller! He had these old classic Performance Machine (PM) items. He also had spun aluminum rim I bought. It took a little machining to the disc spacer, had to take .100" off of the diameter so the smallest version (8.5") of disc could be used. Had to machine an axle spacer to hold the caliper bracket perpendicular in line with 20mm axle. There is only about .070" of clearance between the back of caliper and the rim. But it looks real cool. The quality of "PM" items is incredible! Going to put a retro version of a vintage M&H 4" hockey puck slick on it. Going on another project down the road
Thanks Dragbike Mike! It just makes it! Plus the sprocket side spacer is 1" thick, I can turn material off of that to line chain to whatever it needs.
Looks great so far!

These parts were sold to Marty (z1kzonly) last year.  You can PM him and see if he'd be willing to part with the setup.  Doesn't hurt to ask, right!?  Regarding part numbers, I'm pretty certain that Performance Machine isn't offering this setup anymore; although you could try contacting them directly just to confirm.

Hope this helps.
