Just brought this home yesterday from HF. This was a returned item which I was able to purchase for dirt cheap. My old 125 psi 3.5 HP dry compressor was not good for everything I needed to do and it needs a new pressure cutoff switch replacement which is about 65 bucks to order. I'm sure I replace just the pressure sensor / switch for much less, but this came along and it just made sense. Could easily paint a bike with this compressor. It will not handle the professional grade spray guns (10 CFM or more), but at 7.3 CFM @ 40 psi it will handle the intermediate level guns. And if the gun is a good quality, I should give excellent results.

Good for you. Looks like a piston compressor. Much better than those crappy "oilless" scroll compressors.

Its two cylinder. This is a returned unit checked out by the store. So I only had to pay a hundred for it. But no warranty. Seems to work properly. I hope it was simply someone who decided to borrow it from the store for a couple of days and then return it.

That happens. Buyers remorse or something more shady. I think the latter.

Nice compressor and nice setup! Looks like you can get a lot of painting done without it needing to kick in. Wish we had basements down here. It would be a much needed retreat for me. Am I right to assume you have air lines piped to the garage?
