Does anybody know where I can get a set of baffles for the original exhaust system.

The only place is likely to be from some rusted out pipes. The exhaust on the KZ900 was sold as a complete assembly. The baffles were not a separate item. You cannot use Z1 baffles, they are a different internal diameter and length.
