I ended up getting a free kz900 that needs quite a bit of work. The title is coming soon. The owner said something about it having a diffrent engine. Its a 76 kz900 (so he says.) There is no sticker on the forks. The engine number is Z1E126334. There are four numbers on the forks 5171. I couldnt seem to find a match on my own for the engine number, thats why im posting this. Can someone please tell me what type of engine it is . Any help would be appricated.

The motor number suggests is a late 1976 KZ900A4 (according to www.zedder.com ). The sticker may be gone on the frame head stock, but look closely as the number should also be stamped into the neck. And how-in-the-hell did you get a free Z900?:woohoo:
