OK the time has come to start putting my 615 kit in my bike listed in my signature. After waiting patiently for the cylinders, Wiseco Kit, and head rebuild from APE(Thanks Taige, and the APE Team), cam chain tool, spare link from Z1, and all the necessary small parts from Kawasaki, I am looking for a decent piston ring compressor. I don't know how many times I'll be using it, so I wouldn't see spending hundreds of dollars on one. I want it to actually work, and not mess anything up, so I can spend SOME money on it.

Anyways, what do all of you recommend? What are my options? Been a long time, and I need to get myself, and the bike, back on the road. I have some GPz, and KZ people I'd like to meet and ride with.

Thanks in advance for any replies or suggestions.

I've got the Kawi ring compressor (still in it's original funky plastic storage "envelope") to fit the KZ650's.
I don't know if it will work for the 550's or not, but your welcome to use it if you'd like.
I won't need to use it until probably sometime this coming winter when I (hopefully) start the rebuild of my bike.

Thanks Chris! B)

Does it look like the one in the pic below?

Part number I have in my manual is 57001-1094 which includes:
57001-1095 Grip Assy
57001-1096 Belt 50-67
57001-1097 Belt 67-79(no used)
* it says "no used" in my supplement manual, so go figure that one out.

What part number do you have for yours? Piston size is now going to be 61mm.

In the first pic (E75), is the ring compressor for your bike used on each cylinder individually?

The one I have (57001-531) tackles all the cylinders at once.

Pic of cheesy thick plastic storage "envelope":
