So give me some ideas. How am I going to get 100 crank hp out of my 81' KZ750?

Lol. I was thinking along the lines of a Wiseco bore kit, some smooth bores?

Think that would be enough for 100 crank?

Click on "Links" at the right side of this page and look for the GPz750 FAQ link for instructions on how to get 100 hp from a 750 motor.

Or if you want somewhere near 250 rwhp just ask Lorcan :D

nitrous oxide is the easiest way to 100 hp. cleanest and cheapest hp increase while maintaining reliability. very streetable. you are starting at 80 hp and a mild shot will get you where you want to be with a stock engine. there are more myths and misinformation about these systems out there. if done right you will not hurt anything. Retail starts at 450.00 complete. head work or overbore can cost so much more and not get you to 100 reliable ponies

wiseco 810cc kit, good 4-1 pipe, mikuni 28mm's or better yet 29mm's, pods, ported and milled head... should get you close or even more right?

A short cut to more performance, but I understand there can be insurance problems, and in some areas the legality falls into a grey area.
Like 77KZ650 said, big bore, head work, Mikunis (I would recommend flat slides), and a proven performance pipe such as Yoshimura, Hindle etc, maybe an ignition upgrade also - basic hot rodding, increasing volumetric efficiency.

very true.nitrous has come a long ways since the bottle bomb days,as long as your motor is mechanically solid to begin with shouldnt be a major problem.just make sure to allow extra fuel so ya dont lean her out! my current z1 project is gonna be fitted with a bottle just incase the B) :)  (figure that number out, yeah its gonna be big! )kit and turbo aint enough!the big,bad wolf is gonna have nightmares about tying into this one!:P

I looked into it, and a set of Gpz750 cams and Carb's should be a good start to the upgrade. Then I'll move onto the Wiseco 810 kit.

Are the GPZ750 carbs better then the KZ750's? Or should I just run KZ1000 carbs? Need some input on the right carbs, I'm not planning on running a muffler just header and straight pipe so I'm looking for good response, it doesn't have to be exactly at 100 ponies, but somewhere close.
