Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone remembers a KZ
header that had the mounting tab at the rear of the exhaust, back in the area of the rear axle. Most of
the headers have the rear mount about midway up the
megaphone and mounts to the rear footpeg bracket. The
one I'm asking about had a thin strap that connected
the tab on the megaphone to the top shock mount. A friend of mine had this setup on his KZ, but I can't remember which bike or which brand of exhaust. I had
this setup on a '77 KZ-1000 with a MAC and everyone said I was nuts, that this was homemade and there was
never any such mount. Does anyone else remember such
a mount and possibly provide a pic as I am having no
luck searching the net for a pic? Thanks in advance.
